Productive trial work is paid work.
A proposed process for clear opportunities, relevant evaluation and bounded paid work. Live hiring and payment arrangements remain subject to review.
Begin with a clear brief
State responsibilities, compensation and currency, pay basis, hours, timezone overlap, engagement type and selection steps. Explain material monitoring and equipment requirements. Workers should give truthful, relevant evidence; employers should use lawful criteria and protect applicant information. Applying is free. Material listing changes need clear notice rather than silent substitution.
Keep it bounded
A discussion or non-production exercise must not disguise usable client production. Productive work is paid. Agree on one small deliverable or time block, compensation, criteria, inputs, schedule/timezone, included corrections, confidentiality, ownership and handover before acceptance. Avoid serial unpaid tests replacing normal work.
Know what starts the work
Both parties should accept the same version and understand prerequisites. Live collection and payouts remain disabled; a development balance, screenshot, authorization or redirect is not settled funding. Do not ask someone to rely on a simulation as proof that real compensation is secured.
Review the work against the agreement
Review against agreed criteria and explain any correction within the agreed allowance. New deliverables or expanded time are scope changes with renewed compensation/schedule agreement. No indefinite revisions or silence to obtain extra unpaid work. Development overdue-review behavior queues human attention; it does not silently accept work or release money.
Employment trials need the right arrangement
Use an arrangement appropriate to the real relationship. A contractor or trial label does not decide employment status, recruitment licensing or mandatory rights. Employee wages must not be made contingent solely on contractor-style acceptance. Relocation, visas and overseas deployment need separate review.
Changes, endings and concerns
Communicate delays, record submissions and agree on changes or a fair handover. Ending access does not erase completed work or compensation questions. Both sides may present and answer evidence, receive written reasons and seek independent appeal through the approved procedure. Subscription level does not affect those protections. Staffing and live response/appeal windows still need approval; statutory remedies remain available.
